Ayurvedic herbal blend recipes and detox protocols incorporating digestion-supporting herbs





1. Triphala Detox Blend  

Ingredients: 
1 Triphala powder – 2 tbsp (Amla, Haritaki, Bibhitaki in equal parts)  
2 Ginger powder – 1 tsp  
3 Black pepper powder – ½ tsp  
4 Honey (optional) – 1 tsp  

Preparation & Use:
1 Mix Triphala, ginger, and black pepper powders thoroughly.  
2 Boil 1 cup water, add 1 tsp of the blend, and simmer for 5-7 minutes.  
3 Strain and drink warm, preferably before bedtime.  
4 Optional: Add honey when warm for taste and enhanced digestion.  

Benefit:
Promotes gentle detoxification, improves bowel movement, and strengthens digestive fire.



2. Digestive Booster Tea  

Ingredients:
1 Fennel seeds – 1 tsp  
2 Cumin seeds – 1 tsp  
3 Coriander seeds – 1 tsp  
4 Dry ginger powder – ½ tsp  
5 Black pepper – ¼ tsp  

Preparation & Use:
1 Lightly crush all seeds together to release aroma.  
2 Boil in 2 cups water until reduced to 1 cup.  
3 Strain and drink warm after meals or 2-3 times daily.  

Benefit:
Soothes gastric discomfort, enhances digestion, reduces bloating and gas.



 Ayurvedic Detox Protocol for Digestion  

Day 1-3:
1 Morning: Warm water with lemon and honey.  
2 Evening: Triphala tea as above.  
3 Avoid heavy, oily, or processed foods. Emphasize fresh fruits, vegetables, and light grains like khichdi.  

Day 4-7:
1 Continue Triphala tea in evening.  
2 Include Digestive Booster Tea after meals.  
3 Practice mindfulness and gentle yoga to support digestive health.  

Additional Tips:
1 Avoid late-night meals and excessive caffeine.  
2 Chew food thoroughly and eat mindfully.  
3 Stay hydrated with warm water.
