Ashtavakra says, jnana svarupo, you are knowledge. Bhagavan. God is not an object of your senses. You can never see God, you can never hear God, you can never smell God nor taste God. Not as an experience of God. God is in you as you, in all forms. That is God

श्रद्धस्व तात श्रद्धस्व नात्र मोहं कुरूष्व भोः ।

When you don't have trust in yourself, in the love that you have been given by the Divine or by the society, and the people around you, then you get cravings, attachments and entanglements. Your entanglement is the doubt that whoever you are entangled with doesn't love you, or you don't love them enough. That's where the entanglement begins. Then you want more, more and more. You are not reposing in your Self. This is where love curdled itself. Love becomes sour and becomes an entanglement. You look at someone or something and love springs up in you. Then, you start being with that person or that object that you possess. And then, that love turns into moha, entanglement, where there is no joy, but only problems and misery. नात्र मोहं कुरूष्व भोः । Again and again you have gone through this. It is all inside you. It's all with you, and it all belongs to you. The sun, moon, stars, the trees, birds, and all the people in the world belong to you. They belong to you so dearly. They are all part of you. If at all you want something, you should want God. If at all you are looking for something, know yourself before you know the whole world! And if you want refine yourself more - purify, purify and purify.

Ashtavakra says, jnana svarupo, you are knowledge. Bhagavan. God is not an object of your senses. You can never see God, you can never hear God, you can never smell God nor taste God. Not as an experience of God. God is in you as you, in all forms. That is God. Never think that you will see God one day. Many people think that one day they will talk to God. Some people say that God talked to them. As though God is something far away - something different and foreign, an object. If you listen to many of these evangelical talks on God, they seem to be such a bundle of ignorance! The person does not know what he is talking about! But they are not in a place where you can talk about Ashtavakra to them. That is the pity. You have to be silent. You cannot tell them anything, because it will not mean anything to them! We have seen who is qualified to listen to Ashtavakra. If one is not qualified, then this knowledge means nothing! But when that qualification is there, then words are very inadequate to say what 'is'. You can't say in words what it 'is'.

Someone may say that he is God. People may think the person is crazy, or egoistic, or that he is stupid. Some may feel that he should be in the mental hospital. Many times people say that it is a big sin to say that one is God, as though it is evil to be God! God has become an untouchable. You will be an outcast if you say you are God! Jesus was scared to say that He was God so he said that He was the son of God. He was crucified even for that!
