निरोधादीनि कर्माणि

जहाति जडधीर्यदि।

मनोरथान् प्रलापांश्च

कर्तुमाप्नोत्यतत्क्षणात्॥१८- ७५॥

जड़ बुद्धि वाला यदि निरोध आदि कर्मों को छोड़ देता है तो अगले क्षण बड़े-बड़े मनोरथ बनाने और प्रलाप करने लगता है॥७५॥
