युक्ताहारविहारस्य युक्तचेष्टस्य कर्मसु |
युक्तस्वप्नावबोधस्य योगो भवति दु:खहा ||

अनुवाद: दुःखों का नाश करने वाला योग केवल उन्हीं के लिए संभव है जो आहार, विहार, कर्म, नींद, और जागरूकता में संयमित हैं।
