The health benefits of Amla

The health benefits of Amla, it is also known as Indian Gooseberry, will be partially attributed to its high vitamin c content. It can consume in numerous forms, like pickle and a sweet jam called murabba. Its highly beneficial for your health includes treatment of mouth ulcers, reduction of fat, eye care and hair care.

Health Benefits of Amla:-

* Diabetes Control 
Amla or Indian gooseberries can benefit diabetes patients mostly. Take equal amount of dried amla and its leaves and crush them. Add some turmeric to this mix and eat it least twice a day. You may notice a considerable change in your blood sugar levels.

* Beneficial for Eyes
Crush some Amla and soak them in water for few times. Using a fine cloth, filter the water and put 2 drops in each eye a minimum of three times a day. Drinking Amla or Gooseberry juice with honey is good for improving eyesight.

* Hair Care
Amla or Gooseberry is used in various hair tonics because it enriches hair growth and hair pigmentation. Eating fresh amla or applying its paste on hair roots improves hair growth & color. Amla oil is popular in India as it has been shown to reduce the chances of hair loss and baldness.

* Treatment of Mouth Ulcers
If you suffer from painful mouth ulcers that keep coming and going every now and then, chew some Indian gooseberry or Amla leaves. This can give you relief from the pain instantly. And, if you accidently bite your tongue while chewing food, you may also use leaves to get relief.

* Heart Disease
Amla strengthens the heart muscles, Therefore the heart pumps blood smoothly through the body. By reducing overload cholesterol buildup, the chromium will reduce the chances of atherosclerosis, or plaque buildup within the vessels and arteries. This will reduce the chances of strokes & heart attacks. 

* Infection
Due to its antibacterial & astringent attributes, Amla or Gooseberry protect the body against infection and improves the body’s immune response. They are a good source of vitamin c that is famous for its impressive antioxidant abilities and its stimulation of the immune system.

* Boosts Mental Energy
Dried and powdered amla when eaten with honey can boost energy. Every morning, a minimum of for 20 days, eat amla on an empty stomach and your drained out body can feel recharged in no time.
