✔ Whole plant is used in hepatitis, whooping cough. 
✔ The plant leaves, flowers and tender shoots are used in leprosy and tumorous infection. 
✔ The roots are chewed in toothache. 
✔ The root bark is chomped in the mouth to relieve the abdominal pain.
