Tabebuia rosea (pink poui or rosy trumpet) - Bignoniaceae , a common tree of roadside/ parks in South India grown as an ornamental / avenue tree etc. The species is regarded as an MPTS (Multipurpose tree species) and suitable for agroforestry. It is national tree of El Salvador. Bangalore, 
Medicinal uses
A decoction of the bark is recommended for anemia and constipation. A decoction of the flowers, leaves and roots has been used to reduce fevers and pain, cause sweating, to treat tonsil inflammation and various other disorders.
