Brahma means infinity, charya means moving in the infinity. You move like a glow of light when you know your vast nature and consider yourself not to be just the body. This is when celibacy naturally happens.

Brahmacharya, usually means celibacy. Celibacy brings you a lot of strength. Brahmacharya has a bigger and deeper meaning than just celibacy. Brahma means infinity, charya means moving in the infinity. You move like a glow of light when you know your vast nature and consider yourself not to be just the body. This is when celibacy naturally happens. When you are sitting in deep meditation, you do not feel you are a body and that you are a lump of heavy weight - eighty pounds, ninety pounds, one hundred pound body. You feel so light. You feel as though you are like a feather. When you walk you do not feel the weight of your body. You feel more space. The more joyful you are, the less do you feel the body. The more you are in infinite consciousness, the lesser will you feel the tension, or the physical bodily weight, or presence. That is Brahmacharya. Our consciousness expanded to the infinite and moving in the infinity is our nature.

The nature that is space brings a lot of vigour, valour and strength in you. A person, may be ever small-minded and looking around to check who is good looking or with whom he or she can have sex. Such persons will have low energy and will be very dull and nobody will go near them. A person who is obsessed with sex is unattractive. And they create such a thick and dull vibration around them that there is no strength, vigour or commitment in them. Nothing comes out of them. They just go anywhere and after anybody without even knowing where they are going.

There is a story about Mullah Nasseruddin. Mullah Nasseruddin was watching a dance on a movie screen. The actress was dancing and Mullah was watching the dance, waiting and waiting. Suddenly Mullah went flat on the floor. His wife asked what he was looking at. He replied that he wanted to see the dance of the lady more closely. That, he was waiting for her to sit down.

The mind becomes so crazy that there is no strength in it. It gets to be limited and then jealousy, anger, irritation and frustration raise their heads. And when these storms of negativity arise in a mind, it becomes very weak and poor. All the truth about existence disappears. When your mind is obsessed with such a load of negativity, you cannot even observe the beautiful nature that you are in.

เคฌ्เคฐเคฎ्เคนเคšเคฏॅเคช्เคฐเคคिเคท्เค ाเคฏां เคตीเคฏॅเคฒाเคญः Great strength comes when Brahmacharya is established in one. That is when you consider yourself more than just the body. You see yourself as consciousness, as Brahma.
