Medicinal uses - 
๐Ÿ€A decoction of the twigs is used for treating swelling.
๐Ÿ€A decoction of the bark, combined with the bark of _Terminalia catappa_ , is taken as a treatment for asthma and shortness of breath.
๐Ÿ€Root extracts are used for the treatment of dysentery, diarrhoea and stomach-ache.
