Medicinal uses -

🌼️Rhizome is used internally in the treatment of a range of diseases including peptic ulcers, piles, gonorrhoea, leucorrhoea, asthma, jaundice, diarrhoea, and headache.

🌼Externally, the rhizome is used to treat skin diseases.
