*Parts used* - root, flower, leaves, seed

*Medicinal uses* -  
1. Whole plant is used as tribal medicine in atrophy, bleeding gums, convulsions, measles, night blindness, tuberculosis.
2. Plant is used in abdominal & glandular tumors.
3. Roots are used as antidysentric, antipyretic, diuretic, skin diseases, urinary calculi.
4. Warm leaves juice are used for the swelling to cure guinea worm infection.
5. Decoction of leaves & stems is used in fever & skin eruption.
6. Leaves are boiled in oil & applied to headaches, fevers & wounds between the fingers.
7. The seeds are used for the treatmemt of rheumatism.
