Knowing that it is infinity, it is experienceable, is again another thought. This is a very refined understanding. If we go into silence, we will be better able to understand this. A few days of silence and hollow-empty meditation will help these points touch your consciousness. Then you'll say, 'Aho! Aho!

                🌿Chapter - 30🌿
~ Your Nature Is Gratefulness ~

                  🌱 Day - 174 🌱

Once there was a saint giving a talk. A wealthy man was sitting and listening. It was just a hobby for him. People came to religious talks and lectures so that everybody would think they were very honest and religious. They would gain credibility. People would feel that he was not only rich, but very spiritual, too. So he would come and sit in the talks. The saint was saying that all names and words belong to Him. That every word that was said was God's name."Banana" meant God and so did "cockroach". All names and forms were His. But the previous day, he had contradicted this saying that they should take the name of God and chant it. So, the man asked the saint why he was saying this. That, if he had said all names are God anyway, why should he say "Ram, Ram"? He could say "cockroach, cockroach." What difference did it make? So he said that it would be better if he took his own name. Why did he need to take Ram, Krishna or somebody else's name if all the names are God's name? The saint just smiled and was silent. Later that same day, the saint scolded this person severely, and abused him in an open meeting. He became so furious that he could not even reply! He could not even speak, and he went home angry. He formed a low opinion of the saint and his teachings. It disturbed him so much he could not sleep of a couple of nights. The person who had organized talk cooled him down, and brought him back to the talk. There the saint told him what a great influence of derogatory words had on his mind. That, for a couple of days he could not even sleep. If they could create such fire in him, did he not think that the word "Ram" could create its own energy? If it was all of no use, it should not have mattered him if he had been called an ass, or if he was given a compliment! But it had not happened that way. A derogatory remark had shook his consciousness! In the same way, if he said "Ram" or "Radhe Shyam", it can also create a different type of energy in him. The man was convinced.

Knowing that it is infinity, it is experienceable, is again another thought. This is a very refined understanding. If we go into silence, we will be better able to understand this. A few days of silence and hollow-empty meditation will help these points touch your consciousness. Then you'll say, 'Aho! Aho! Yes!' You'll agree with Ashtavakra. Otherwise, it remains just another thought. So dropping all these feelings, you will relax and repose in your Self.
