Medicinal uses -
1. Whole plant is crushed & prepared as a decoction for patients suffering from liver enlargement.
2. Leaf paste is applied on forehead to get relief from headache.
3. Plant decoction is used to cure fever and dysentery.
4. Leaf paste with turmeric is applied externally to cure scabies.
5. Nymphoides indica is also used to cure jaundice, rheumatism, tonsillitis to relief pain.
