🍁 The root juice of the plant is used for the treatment of malarial fevers. 

🍁 Leaf paste is used for the treatment of boils by Tanchangya ethnic people in Bangladesh.

🍁 It is also included in the treatment of fever, hemorrhage, skin diseases, urinary and respiratory infections.

🍁 Antioxidant, antimicrobial, cytotoxic, anti-leukemic and larvicidal properties.
