The awareness about one Self, the world and the Divinity is possible only through the light of this knowledge. We will not see any bad intentions in anyone telling us about some 'mistakes'. They would be expressing what they had seen and what they feel should be improved. We should go ahead and improve what needs to be improved. Thereby, we respect others' feelings.

Now suppose, someone came to see you and you slammed the door in their face. You slammed the door because mosquitoes were coming in, but the person felt that you slammed the door in their face! Do you see the difference in level of perception in different levels or consciousness in different people? Now, if that person is hurt, there is no need to justify that you had closed the door because of the mosquitoes, and that you had not meant to hurt them. What should you do? Simply ask, 'Are you hurt? Tell him that if you have hurt him, you are sorry. And that he should pardon you. You had no intention of hurting him, but you have still been the cause of a hurt somewhere. So what? Do we lose anything by asking for pardon? We do not become less? We do not lose our prestige. If by your mere presence you have hurt someone, then just ask to be pardoned. Arguing and justifying that you did not mean it may stretch into a lengthy conversation. Whereas if you ask for pardon, the person's barometer comes down. Their temperature comes down.

This is a great and unwritten truth; mistakes are nobody's - neither 'mine' nor 'yours'. So, with this technique you check the mistake and, at the same time, you don't get angry or feel guilty. We don't say that there is no mistake at all. A mistake is a mistake. We are not justifying a mistake. We recognize a mistake. Unless you recognize a mistake, there is no scope for you to improve. But we do not consider the mistake to be 'mine', or 'his', or 'hers'. This knowledge brings big relief! It saves you from getting stuck in the mud. Though you are in the mud, walk and move like a cloud. You move through trees, but still you remain whole. Walk lightly on this planet. You are here only for a little while. Wave to everyone who comes against you. Those who are against you, move towards you. Wave to them all. Walk lightly on this planet. You are here only for a little while. So wave to them all. However, we tend to wrestle with the people who are ahead of us; hold back the people who are moving forward.

Keep moving like a cloud!
