एक एव भवाम्भोधावासीदस्ति भविष्यति ।

न ते बन्धोऽस्ति मोक्षो वा कृतकृत्यः सुखं चर ॥

This world has been the same, and it is the same world, will be the same world in the future. Many incarnations have come on this planet. Many saints have been born. Many nice people have lived on this planet. But, this universe is still the same. Many saviours have come but has the world changed? It has remained the same. Over and over, again and again, year after year, the same things happen in the world. So, if you have any illusion or idea in your mind about transforming the whole world, you had better drop it. It has never happened before, nor will it happen now, and nor will it happen in the future.

This is another firecracker! This is a very special sutra. The Jewish say God has come. That he spoke to Moses, and only to Moses. The Christians say Jesus is the son; that there might have been prophets before, but he was the only son God sacrificed. That there is no more hope. Only he can save the world. And he has been saving the world the past two thousand years. So forget about it. Finished. And then the Muslim's say that Jesus was a saint, but the latest of the Gods was Mohammed, and the last book he wrote was the Koran. After the Koran, there are no more books. It is the final chance. That, if man cannot be emancipated by the Koran, he can never be emancipated in the future.

So, around one thousand and six hundred years have passed. Has the world improved; gotten any better? Not one or two years but one thousand and six hundred years have passed.

And you say you have not improved. You have meditated for ten years but nothing has happened for you. But people have been hanging onto the scriptures for so many years. Has anything happened? Have they been saved? Have they gone to heaven? Has anyone brought samples or proof that something else exists there?

This is the truth; the reality! Nothing has happened. It has all been the same. And people say that satyuga was so great, and everything was wonderful then! And this is kaliyuga, and everything is hopeless. I ask them why they think so.

In satyuga,there were four avatars, four demons. Vishnu had to take four, five, avtars(incarnations). At least kaliyuga has more freedom. It is much better in kaliyuga. If you saw the atrocities that happened in satyuga, you would feel kaliyuga is far better. In satiyuga, people could not meditate with whatever mantra they wanted to. If someone chanted the name of Narayana in their meditation, Hiranyakashyapu would come and bother them. He would force them to repeat his name as a mantra. At least, nobody does that now! No one discovers the mantras that you chant, and the japas that you do. Nobody knows who you are worshiping. You have so much freedom.

This freedom was not there in satyuga. Hundreds and hundreds of rishis and saints had such a bad time then. They could not repeat 'Narayana, Narayana' or any mantras without Hiranyakashyapu appearing there. He would come with his group, and bother all the pundits.

The world has been like that, is like this now, and will be like that in the future. In the world, there will always be some good people who are engaged in good and beneficial work, and some who are engaged in crime. This continues. The balance this way or that way, some more, some less. But it will all be there in the world,will continue there in the world.
