Lawsonia inermis (Henna or Hina) -Lythraceae, cultivated for its leaves used for making powder (henna powder) used for colouring hair, nails, skin etc. also cultivated for hedge. India is the largest producer and exporter of henna in the world and most of henna is produced in Rajasthan.
