Amla

Amla (Phyllanthus emblicais) is the greatest boon to humanity and one of the effective traditional herbal medicines, which had been used to treat and manage diseases since ancient times. Hardly any people are unaware of its importance and significance as it is associated with multiple health and medicinal benefits. 
Phyllanthus emblica (its botanical name) is the reservoir of minerals, vitamins and other biochemical substances.

1. Alma for hair: Amla is good for preventing hair loss, hair fall and plays a vital role in the overall health of the hair.
Drinking Amla juice helps in preventing hair fall, hair loss, dandruff and split ends because of the protein content in it.
The mixture of juices of amla and lemon when applied over the scalp, followed by washing helps to strengthen the hair follicles and hair shaft. It also enhances hair luster, color and pigmentation.
Regular intake of Amla juice makes the hair darker and thicker and also prevents from greying.
Applying the paste of amla helps to make the hair grow and retain its dark color.
Amla prevents baldness due to the presence of carotene and iron.
