Many years ago when Gurudev used to be in Shakti Kutir, I was sitting there amongst other devotees and I had a thought, a wish. I really wanted to ask Gurudev to give me something that I could take back for all the volunteers in Mumbai. That would make them so happy if they get something from him. This thought kept playing on my mind but I didn’t say anything because I felt really shy to say that. 

After a little while Gurudev got up and went into his room and came out with a brown paper bag and lowered the bag. There were some people sitting around me and all of them raised their hands to get the bag. But he dropped it in my lap and he just said, "Give it to them." I just looked at him and was stunned. “Oh my God,” I thought, "How has he read my thoughts! How does he do this?" Obviously he does this all the time but this time it became so evident that he could read my thoughts. This was just something that has always stayed with me and it’s been a very, very special experience.
