Symptoms of poisoning (Visha) in Ayurveda

Dosha-based symptoms of poisoning (Visha) in Ayurveda, including:

- Vata-based symptoms:
    - Morbid thirst
    - Unconsciousness
    - Dislike for everything
    - Fainting
    - Obstruction in the throat
    - Vomiting
    - Foamy salivation

- Pitta-based symptoms:
    - Morbid thirst
    - Coughing
    - Fever
    - Vomiting
    - Mental fatigue
    - Burning sensation
    - Darkness before the eyes
    - Diarrhea

- Kapha-based symptoms:
    - Dyspnoea
    - Obstruction in the throat
    - Itching
    - Excessive salivation
    - Vomiting

Additionally,  the symptoms of Dushi Visha (artificial poison), which affects all three doshas and can cause:

- Eczema in the head
- Psoriasis
- Urticaria

The text also explains that the cause of death by poison is the obstruction of the channels of circulation due to vitiated blood, which can occur when the poison is ingested or transmitted through a bite or puncture wound.
