Global Ayurveda Updates.

The global Ayurveda sector continues its dynamic growth in 2025, with the upcoming 7th Global Ayurveda Summit scheduled for late October to foster international collaborations and integrative healthcare innovations. Traditional medicine, including Ayurveda, is practiced in nearly 90% of WHO member states, driving a booming market projected to reach over $583 billion globally. India leads with a rapidly expanding AYUSH industry valued at $43.4 billion, complemented by increasing international recognition and export of Ayurvedic products to over 150 countries, reflecting the rising consumer shift towards preventive and holistic health worldwide.


National Ayurveda News.

India recently celebrated the 10th Ayurveda Day on 23rd September 2025 with the theme “Ayurveda for People & Planet,” emphasizing Ayurveda’s role in health and ecological balance. The Ministry of AYUSH highlighted new initiatives including the launch of digital portals DRAVYA and APTA, expansion of healthcare units at the All India Institute of Ayurveda in Goa, and nationwide health assessment campaigns focusing on preventive healthcare. The prestigious National Dhanwantari Ayurveda Awards 2025 recognized leaders advancing Ayurveda education, research, and practice. Government efforts continue to integrate Ayurveda into national health programs and promote sustainability practices aligned with traditional wisdom.

Ayurvedic Herb of the Day: Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera).

Ashwagandha remains a cornerstone Ayurvedic herb known for its potent adaptogenic properties that reduce stress and anxiety, boost immunity, and enhance mental clarity.
