Be in silence. A thousand words cannot replace a glance or a look from you. And many thousands of looks cannot convey one minute of silence. Just stay silent.

Then it was Janaka's turn. He said that he had done so many things in the past. But, at the moment, he was at rest; that he had no interest in doing anything. He was not the doer. He was not interested in lengthy conversations; that they had tired him. And that he was enjoying a deep rest. He realized that.

Have you observed when you sit and talk for a long time? You feel nauseous and tired. People are interested in explaining past events. They say, "I have never met anyone like you in all my life." They would have said the same to so many people! You can observe what people talk. It is such an entertainment! They would have met a short time ago, and feel a lifetime's connection. And they buy their ears, as that person becomes very sympathetic and keeps listening. And then, they go on talking and talking - endless and meaningless talk explaining the past. When you go deeper, what do you find in every talk? You will find self justifications and accusations; either concerning someone, a situation or an event. They accuse and justify. Behind everything is the implication that they are right. Even if a person says he is wrong, he says so in order to make the other person say that he is right. They want you to be sympathetic and praise them. Even behind saying, "I am not good", there's an expectation that others should console me that "I am Good".

Janaka had said that all the mental games, bodily actions and verbal gymnastics had tired him. That he was not interested in them. Even a little bit tired him. He was also tired of his thoughts. He did not even want to think; the thoughts had become big for him. Peace is that state of transcendence, of being without thoughts. He says, 'I am established in silence.' In that silence, even a thought is a weight. It is something disturbingly big. Words and actions are too much. There is no use in all the talking. Be in silence. A thousand words cannot replace a glance or a look from you. And many thousands of looks cannot convey one minute of silence. Just stay silent. The more 'in' you are, the more consolidated you are. In the very core, of your being, in the center of your being, you speak the language of existence. Then you do so much good, and so many wonderful things happen around you. Weigh your words, and then spend them. Weigh your words before speaking. They are the pearls of your life. Do not throw them about, and lose them for nothing. It is a waste of time. It's pardonable if people do it without awareness i e. those who do not know, and who have not come in touch with this knowledge. But it is unpardonable if people still engage themselves in it after coming one step in knowledge! Janaka said that too much talking has tired him. It is so beautiful.
