According to Ayurveda, yeast infections are classified into three types based on the dominant dosha (Vata, Pitta, or Kapha) involved:

1. Vata-type yeast infection:
    - Symptoms appear in the large intestine
    - Characterized by:
        - Gas and bloating
        - Constipation
        - Dry skin
        - Insomnia
        - Itchy ears
        - Intense fatigue
2. Pitta-type yeast infection:
    - Symptoms appear in the liver and blood
    - Characterized by:
        - Acne
        - Skin irritations
        - Rashes
        - Irritability
        - Diarrhea
3. Kapha-type yeast infection:
    - Symptoms appear in the stomach
    - Characterized by:
        - Excess mucus
        - Eczema
        - Weight gain
        - Chronic fatigue
        - Psoriasis
        - Urinary tract infections
