The stupid does not attain Godhead because he wants to become it, while the wise man enjoys the Supreme Godhead without even wanting it.॥37॥

मूढो नाप्नोति तद् ब्रह्म

यतो भवितुमिच्छति।

अनिच्छन्नपि धीरो हि

परब्रह्मस्वरूपभाक्॥१८- ३७॥

अज्ञानी को ब्रह्म का साक्षात्कार नहीं हो सकता क्योंकि वह ब्रह्म होना चाहता है। ज्ञानी पुरुष इच्छा न करने पर भी परब्रह्म बोध स्वरूप में रहता है॥३७॥
