The cause of Hypertension - - hyper - tension » jyada stress or tension level in our body .
What you think ? is it manageable - - with diet , Meditation , Mudra therapies or doing daily  Yoga ,Excercises . 
Now ,answer is Yes ,we r lucky ,not depending on medicines to manage this . 
But if answer is yes , but we still on medicine then is the reason behind it - watch and remove those hindrances first .
Now I am going to talk what is Stress
Stress is reaction in respond to brain and body demand . When you are stressed ,your body releases chemicals called hormones . Hormones make us alert to react . 
They can raise your blood pressure , heart rate , blood sugar levels . This response is called a ' fight or flight ' response .
Stress can be  for short time or long term .
Stress is not bad it also help us survive in a difficult situation . Hormones help you quickly to come out from that situation . 
But long term stress can  invite more health issues as stress weakens our body's ability to fight or say reduce your immune system . 
You feel digestion problems .
Insomnia issues .
Headache 
frustration 
losing interest in things of enjoyment .
troubles getting out of bed or unwilling mood 
may cause - depression , 
high blood pressure  
anxiety 
heart disease
diabetes .
With Meditation - Om Chanting 
Yogic Breathing ,
Anulom - Vilom ,
Kpaaal Bhati ,
Cobra Pose and more 
slowly slowly we can overcome stress and are able to manage Hypertension and further can prevent other health issues .
Postures of Mudras helpful to keep our body fit . 
Avoid Fried or Packed food ,junk food .
Balanced and Nutrients rich diet - like lemon , oranges , mangoes , watermelon , Berries , Cantalaoup  ,  beetroot , mint ,basil leaves , with combinations you can manage high blood pressure ,
