Bauhinia tomentosa (yellow bauhinia) - Fabaceae, grown as an ornamental and also used in folk medicine. Young leaves cooked, flowers used as a remedy for dysentery n diarrhoea, the fruits is considered diuretic. The root is vermifuge.
