जीवितेच्छा बुभुक्षा च
बुभुत्सोपशमं गताः॥९- २॥
हे पुत्र! इस संसार की (व्यर्थ) चेष्टा को देख कर किसी धन्य पुरुष की ही जीने की इच्छा, भोगों के उपभोग की इच्छा और भोजन की इच्छा शांत हो पाती है॥२॥
