The mind of the man seeking liberation can find no resting place within, but the mind of the liberated man is always free from desire by the very fact of being without a resting place.॥44॥
मुमुक्षोर्बुद्धिरालंब-
मन्तरेण न विद्यते।
निरालंबैव निष्कामा
बुद्धिर्मुक्तस्य सर्वदा॥१८- ४४॥
मुमुक्षु पुरुष की बुद्धि कुछ आश्रय ग्रहण किये बिना नहीं रहती। मुक्त पुरुष की बुद्धि तो सब प्रकार से निष्काम और निराश्रय ही रहती है॥४४॥
