"Letting Go"
Desires arise, like whispers in the wind
Don't cling to them, don't let them define
Your worth, your happiness, your sense of self
For in attachment, we suffer, we struggle, we wealth
Wanting to be desire-less, a paradox indeed
A desire to be free from desire, a contradictory need
But what if we simply let go, released the grip
Allowed desires to arise, and pass, like ripples on a rip
Be satisfied, content, and centered, in this moment now
Don't look to desires, to fulfill, to somehow
Make you whole, complete, or worthy of love
For you are already enough, sent from above
So let desires come, and go, like the ebb and flow
Don't attach, don't cling, just let them go
And find your peace, your joy, your heart's delight
In the simplicity of being, free from the weight of night.
