भगवद्गीता– अध्याय ७, श्लोक ९

पुण्यो गन्ध: पृथिव्यां च तेजश्चास्मि विभावसौ |

जीवनं सर्वभूतेषु तपश्चास्मि तपस्विषु ||

अनुवाद: मैं धरती की पवित्र सुगन्ध और अग्नि में तेज हूँ, तथा समस्त प्राणियों में प्राण और तपस्वियों का तप हूँ।
